Ok everybody, it’s only 3 weeks until the 2017 Dayton Mini Maker Faire! Today we launched our interactive, custom Google map of the event. You can use it to plan your visit to our nearly 80 exhibits, speakers, workshops and performances! The map also shows food options, parking, Carillon Park historical exhibits, and most importantly, bathrooms. You can find it by clicking here.

For more information on specific exhibits, check our our Makers & Exhibits List here.

For more information on the permanent exhibits and collections at Carillon Historical Park, be sure to visit the Dayton History site.

We are also pleased to announce that our sponsors Mendelsons, Proto BuildBar and MCM Electronics are all selling pre-sale tickets. Pre-sale tickets are the same price as day-of at the door tickets, BUT come with a huge benefit of not having to stand at the ticket counter line. The Dayton Mini Maker Faire only comes once a year, so you’ll want to minimize your time in line and maximize your time in the park. Of course, if you already have an annual pass for Carillon Park, you’re covered because the Maker Faire is included!

Finally, we have confirmed that David Picciuto, author and star of Make Something on Youtube and the Making It podcast will be speaking on Sunday, August 6 at 1 PM on the town green stage. He’ll be speaking about “10 Things to Make You a Better Maker”. You won’t want to miss it!
